Omar Armenteros

Omar _ArmenterosMr. Omar Armenteros is Principal and CEO of Ford Armenteros & Manucy, Inc. Since the company’s inception in 1982, he has positioned the firm as a leader in land planning, subdivision and land surveying. With over 33 years of experience serving the counties of Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe, Mr. Armentero’s is not only a leader in his industry but also a well-known and respected member of the South Florida community.

His exemplary work ethic and extensive knowledge base have proven him an accomplished administrator and project manager capable of dealing with all project stages, from early planning to completion. All projects undertaken by the firm carry Mr. Armentero’s quality assurance.

Under his leadership, Mr. Armenteros has established relationships with the various governmental and regulatory agencies for the firm. From 1973 to 1982, Mr. Armenteros was affiliated with J.H. Manucy Land Surveyors, Inc. ultimately becoming Senior Chief Draftsman. His responsibilities included land planning, mortgage survey, topographic surveys, specific surveys, ALTA surveys, as-built surveys, route surveys, final plats, site plans and condominium surveys.

Manuel J. Echezarreta

Manuel EchezarretaMr. Manuel Echezarreta as President of Ford Engineers, Inc., is responsible for the firm’s design and construction administration of all site/civil and environmental projects including permitting, contract documents, site observations and feasibility studies.

As a leader in the South Florida engineering industry, his expertise has serviced an impressive list of clientele and has established a true mark in the industry with over 30 years of service in the region. Mr. Echezarreta is highly qualified in all aspects of site/civil and environmental projects in both the private and public sectors. He has established solid affiliations with various local regulatory agencies and is a consummate professional in dealing with all facets of projects, from inception to completion.

Prior experience includes over 10 years as Project Manager/Engineer designing drainage systems, roadways, coastal structures, as well as, water and sewer line extensions. Mr. Echezarreta’s experience includes work in projects throughout the States of Florida, Massachusetts, South Carolinas, Georgia and the Caribbean.

Cynthia M. Caldevilla

Cynthia CaldevillaMs. Cynthia Marie Caldevilla is Principal of Ford Abstract & Title. Ms. Caldevilla is a licensed Title Insurance Agent with a reputable paralegal background that spans over 20 years. She joined Ford, Armenteros & Manucy, Inc. in early 1997 and has since contributed to the firm’ success with her extensive experience in managing all issues relating to land development.

Ms. Caldevilla is well versed in legal research, abstracting and title examination, matters involving complex title issues, platting issues, condominium documents, ALTA surveys, and real estate closing procedures.

Her valuable expertise assists developers, builders and private property owners in the acquisition and entitlement of their property, as well as obtaining all types of land use, zoning, platting and other governmental approvals before local, county and regional agencies. Through her strong relationships with various agencies, she is able to achieve the client’s objectives in an effective and timely manner.

Prior to joining Ford, Armenteros & Manucy, Inc., Ms. Caldevilla served at two of the nation’s leading law firms working on high profile corporate and litigation matters, as well as medical malpractice defense cases.

Edwin J FernandezMr. Edwin J. Fernandez serves Ford, Armenteros and Manucy, Inc. as Survey Department Director and is well known and respected for his broad background in Land Planning, Surveying, Subdivision of Land and Legal Descriptions, Title Review, Land Use, Astronomic Observation, Mean High Water Studies, Platting Laws and Regulations and Boundary Location Platting, in both the private and public sectors.

Mr. Fernandez is responsible for managing technical staffs in Surveying and Computer Aided Drafting & Design Departments. Mr. Fernandez is responsible for examining the accuracy of office to field computation and field-to-office surveying data for the firm.

He is also in charge of the overall preparation of all C.A.D.D. produced ALTA, ACSM & NSPS Land Title Surveys, Boundary or Land Surveys, Condominium Surveys, Construction Layout Surveys, Lot & Block Surveys, Quantity Surveys, Right-of-Way Surveys, Specific or Special Purpose Surveys, Subdivision Planning/Platting Surveys, Topographic Surveys, as well as other types surveys for the firm.

Mr. Rodriguez has over 20 years of experience in Land planning, Subdivision and Land Surveying in the South Florida area. Cris Pires

Cris PiresMs. Cristina Pires is Senior Development Consultant for Ford, Armenteros & Manucy, Inc. Ms. Pires oversees all the platting and land planning projects undertaken by the Consulting Department and works closely with Urban Planners, Architects, and Land Surveyors to aid in the preparation of Site Plans, Tentative Plats, and Final Plats in connection with applications for subdivision of tracts of land.

Ms. Pires serves as a liaison between clients and office staff to facilitate the work in progress. In order to provide excellent customer service she engages clients, attorneys, and governmental agencies to facilitate the preparation of plans and assure compliance with zoning regulations in a timely and professional manner. She is skilled in presenting land development requests before different zoning boards for approval and is knowledgeable with the zoning codes of various municipalities within South Florida.

Throughout her career she has been involved in various areas of land development, including the preparation of Annual Status Reports and Notification of Proposed Changes in connection with approved Developments of Regional Impact. Ms. Pires is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Ken Groce

Ken GroceMr. Ken Groce is Director of Engineering for Ford Engineers, Inc. where he is responsible for new business development as well as project development with existing clients.

In his charge, Mr. Groce directs project managers in the preparation of construction plans for water, sewer, paving and drainage facilities that will serve various residential and commercial subdivisions in Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe and Palm Beach Counties.

Mr. Groce contributes to the firm a wealth of knowledge having served on various residential and commercial projects throughout the State of Florida. His knowledge of plats and boundary surveys for developing site plans for various residential and commercial developments provides high quality service. He is also experienced dealing with various regulatory agencies and utility departments in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties.
